Avella Archer
The rules that she'd laid out for what she expected from her subordinates was something she would stand by. As an Archer she expected a certain amount of integrity. Though she didn't look down on those who weren't of her blood she held herself and those of her soon to be pack to a higher standard. As the man expressed his happiness with her acceptance of his offer she couldn't help but smile. "I'm glad that I could give you that but really it's my pleasure to have you come along with us." She truly was happy that she could give yet another wolf hope that they might not have had. As for their traveling companions, "Yes, I've brought along my guard, Hagar. He's not much of a talker but he's a good guy." Though she hadn't known the chocolate wolf for long she trusted him very much. She'd also noticed that he seed to get along well with everyone.

She nodded along with his words in understanding of what he was telling her. "I'll hold you too that but I have to admit I hope that you do end up staying with us." After speaking with him she got the feeling that he was a good guy too and one that she could certainly count on. The behavior he displayed was strange to her. She thought it might just be the excitement of the moment. That was until he explained it too her. "I see, well then I am honored that you would make such a promise to me. That promise will not be taken lightly and as you have promised to me I promise to keep my word to you." She was sure that the promise she was making to h she would not break. Avella saw them as important and sacred so she did not alert promises that she knew she could not keep.

Doon Ironwood
It'd been such a long time since he'd been wanted, needed even, as regards responsibility of a pack. It caused some emotions he'd not felt since his birth pack to surface, mostly camaraderie and fellowship. Even though he'd just met this woman and not yet met others she'd contacted Doon had a good feeling about his decision. "I'm glad Avella, I must admit it's been some time since I been part of a pack though I'm lookin' forward to it again! Lookin' forward to meetin' this Hagar fella too."

Doon nodded at her own promise, appreciating the reciprocity and forthrightness evident in his potential leader. Both of those things he admired and could look up to. Feeling things coming to a close Doon stood and looked eagerly toward the horizon, "Sure appreciate your promise Avella, now we can iron out the particulars while we walk. You and your guard ain't stayin' too far away? Unless you'd rather be travelin' at night which is fine by me too."

Avella Archer
Avella wondered what Hagar would think when she showed up with another recruit. She knew the Chocolate man certainly wouldn't be expecting it. Shed told him before she'd left that she was just going to go a little ways to find food. She knew he wouldn't disagree with it, that just hadn't seemed like him. She just hoped that he would be nice to the man. "Don't worry, you aren't the only one. All of us have been on our own for a time. We haven't been together too long but we are still working as a pack," she explained, "I have to warn you, Hagar is a quiet man so don't expect too much out of him at first." She wanted to make sure the man knew that so that he wouldn't be offended.

Avella offered her own promise to the man who stated that he appreciated it. This brought a smile to her face, "I'm glad to make it. We certainly can talk more as we walk. I will be glad to answer any question you might have. Hagar shouldn't be too far, let's hope he caught something for dinner. We will be resting tonight before going on to the backwater." That was how she and Hagar had been traveling. Scully wasn't expecting them for a few more days so she wasn't too concerned about changing things yet.
