Slowly things had started to get easier. Oksana telling her that she did not blame her for what had happened had helped to ease the pain in her chest any time she thought of her fallen friend, and the support of her packmates who refused to let her stew in her pain like she had with her mother’s passing. It was difficult. In many ways, it would always be difficult… but she was slowly starting to get to a place where she felt normal.
She nudged her husband gently, humming softly about going on a walk as she rose, stretching out as she made her way out of the pack den where she had been sleeping as of late. Her old habits of sleeping in the herbal den had resulted in issues sleeping since Aleister’s passing causing her to relocate to be around those she cared for most.
Still, thoughts lingered, which was why she waded her way towards the sunset, the shadows casting over the trees in the forest near the lake. She blinked, when she saw her shadow, strange webbed looking wings cast from a tree causing her to look up, a shocked fright for a moment before she saw the cobwebs, spider webs abandoned by their creator… Her heart raced as she yelped before she started to laugh a little… it all had her on edge, it seemed.
