To think that he was going on a mission to destroy the happiness of another only made him slightly hesitant. If she knew what would she think? For the longest time, he had thought that Inali held all that was good in the world. Yuka was old enough now to realize that his thoughts were false but he knew that she was a peacekeeper, that part of her would always remain and if she knew what Nina had planned behind everyone's back, he did not know how that would affect her. The Thorben knew he would never be able to tell her what he was hoping to succeed at doing and if he ever did return, he knew that it wouldn't be for long. He yearned for higher things that Secret Woodlands could not give him.
All too soon, it was time for them to part. Yuka found himself stretching towards her, not wanting his last ounce of goodness to leave towards the others but no words fell from his mouth to stop her. He would not make her any promises about his safety. He knew that anything could happen out there. After all, back in the Caverns, the damage to his hideous face had happened in his own home. By this time, Inali had disappeared and Yuka knew that he too had to retreat back into the shadows so that he could get rest before he departed. And so, he did just that.
