In the times when she desired his presence he was always there to offer her some relief from her symptoms through simple touches, nibbles behind her ear, and brushing his muzzle along her throat. Each morning before she woke he would bring her gifts of food leaving them in front of her she slumbered in the den they shared. He always respected her moods careful not to overstep or make her uncomfortable. He knew when the time was right she would let him know that she was ready to accept his advances.
Something told him the day was coming closer and he was keeping his distance allowing her the time she needed to really be ready. As she traveled through the territory leaving her scent covered fur snagged on the truck he followed behind but just out of sight of her. He would stop to sniff at the fur she'd left behind letting his nostrils fill with her scent. Gradually he became more and more excited his tail waving high over his back as he moved among the trees his love just head. Then he saw her as she stopped her voice sweet and inviting as she called to him inviting him to join her. “I am here my love,” he said stepping into view from between two trees and joined her his tail still waving above him in his excitement. He closed the distance between them and placing a kiss on her cheek, “Have you lead me here for a reason?” He asked close to her ear.
The loss of his friend Heigen was a sad one for the healer, he'd really liked the man and thought he would be around the notch a lot longer. Their conversation had suggested he wanted to accomplish something in the pack. Witchhazel had also disappeared, he hadn't known her well but she too seemed to want to help the pack. These loses only made it that more important that they fulfill the offer Gent had posed to them. Now more than ever he was glad to have this opportunity to serve the pack in this way. It did however sadden him that Gent and Raela weren't the ones to be bringing pups into the pack this season.
The light was fading as he followed her through the territory but he could still see her through the trees. He didn't hesitate to join her at her invitation making his way toward her through the trees to where she stood waiting for him. The beauty of her as she stood against the twilit sky was not lost on him. The thought he'd had when seeing her on that boulder and here they were taking steps toward it. Everyday he was grateful he'd met her in that forest a they had chase I rabbits together. Her eyes shined in the fading light and he for the sense she was just as ready as he was. He should have been expecting her playfulness as he heard the nip before she was dancing backward and leaping away from him. He chuckled when she admitted to leading him to the place they no occupied, “I should have know you wouldn't make it easy on me,” he jested. As she pranced around him he kept toward her landing just in front of her before nipping at her neck and bounding away then turning to face her once more. “I've been waiting to hear those words, my love.” Emrys knew this time was different from any other as he waited for her to advance on him.
As she initiated the play her movements were graceful as she danced around him. He joined in with his quick movements challenging her to come after him. He laughed, “I wouldn't have it any other way,” he told waiting for her to make her move, “Anything for the woman I love,” he added his tone a little more serious. “I fully intend on earning my reward,” he said laughing once more. She was a tricky creature bit that was one reason he loved her so much. He soon found out what her next move was going to be as she rushed toward him. His neck was encircled by her legs as she buried her nose in his scruff and for a moment he let her rest there as he heard her inhaling his scent. He took the moment to crane his neck to push his nose into the fur on her side as her took in her scent. He then toppled them both over onto the ground and rolling on top of her, “Is that all you have?” He questioned teasingly.
He knew how sensitive she was during this time and what the slightest touch of his nose could do to her. He let her enjoy the moment but it was just that a moment before he had them both on the ground. She was under him making some futile attempts to escape him as he hovered over her. Nibbles were placed along her neck before he asked her if she had given him all she had. He laughed at her answer, “I had a feeling you were going to say that.” A challenge had been made, he I could see it in her eyes. That said they were soon jaw sparring which didn't last too long before she was batting at his ear snow flying from the fur surrounding her pads. He then backed off nibbling the fur along her stomach as he went before stopping and meeting her yellow gaze, “Catch me if you can my love,” he said mischievously. The healer then took off through the trees weaving in and out of them as he ran in circles around her. He had every intention of letting her catch him but that didn't mean she wouldn't have to do little running first.
