Lorcán Artemieva
The sound of their voices combined sent a chill through the agouti male's spine as he tipped his head back to as howl out his own song. Lorcan's black-tipped tail swayed proudly behind him as their chorus grew quiet and his golden eyes scanned around to acknowledge the familiar and more recent members of the group.

At the sound of Piety's voice, Lorcan turned his head to listen to her, his own smile gracing his charcoal lips at her words. The male nodded along in agreement. Pale brows furrowed slightly, his expression growing more serious, as she mentioned sending out a few scouts to talk with the neighbouring packs. It would be important to set up good relations early on.

When Piety directed her attention to the group, asking for questions should they have any. Lorcan wait for a moment before adding. "It is also a great time to start thinking about how you may wish to serve the pack. If anyone has any particular preference for a role, please come and talk to either myself or Piety later." He said with a smile.

Lenae Selwyn

Their joint howl soon came to an end. Lenae lowered her gaze, only to quickly glance at the white lady she'd never seen before. She looked...unhappy to say the least, as though she didn't want to be here, like anywhere else would be more appetising to her. If that was the case then why did she remain, why had she pledged herself to Piety's cause? Lenae wanted to say something, not in response to Piety's or Lorcan's words but...To her.

Clearly now wasn't the right time for it, and even if it was Lenae wasn't sure what she'd say. Sorry wouldn't suffice, that much was obvious.

Shaking her head-in response to both her own thoughts and the questions posed- Lenae's gaze flicked to Cyril once more. He looked frustrated, bitter. Was anyone here-aside from the leaders- happy? It didn't really feel that way but perhaps in time things could change, Lenae at the very least wanted to try. That was the best she could offer at this time.

She would think about roles more later, as of then she didn't want to slow matters down. The sooner they set up shop the better.

Odin Archer
had a one way ticket to the place where all the demons go
Odin Archer

Odin's ears turned back as Kip joined them, visibly avoiding glancing in her direction (easier with one eye than with two of course but he didn't want to set her off again, at least he was already on the ground this time if she decided to have a go at him). Scouting... wasn't really his thing, but if it was asked of him he'd undertake the task. He didn't miss Cyril's look towards the leading pair, which reminded him that he was yet to address their own elephant in the room. With everything going on he tucked that little secret further down on the to-do list, filing it under the maybe never header. They both had a lot going on without more speculation muddying the waters, he was happier with things between them as they were.

As for roles, well, he'd go where he was needed. He was happy doing a little bit of everything for now.

Cheedo

It was supposed to be a happy occasion, they were finally claiming the land they had made their home. It was awkward, she still had her heat, the woman she remembered Odin spending a lot of time with on the Monadnock was there. Lenae who she was certain she had ruined their friendship. It also seemed that she may have told Odin about her pregnancy the way he stayed next to her. Cheedo had even noticed the look that was given to the leading pair.

Her gaze went to them after traveling around the group and she couldn't help but wonder if the pack was being created on a happy note. The only ones that actually seemed happy we're the leading pair. She still had confused feelings on that matter but she knew better than to address it now that they were a pack. She'd stayed a short distance from the others trying her best and surely failing to not burden them with her scent. She just wanted her heat to be over, it was making her more and more miserable with each passing day. The thoughts that she had initially blamed on her heat though...she felt that they weren't because of it.

She'd turned her head away from the group in an effort to avoid any of their gazes, she already felt embarrassed enough that she still carried the stink of her heat. Her gaze was drawn back to Piety as she spoke about them claiming the land and sending scouts out. She gave a small nod to the pale woman as a way of telling her she would go if that was what she wanted. Perhaps it was best she get away from the Tarn for awhile she felt so out if place.

Cheedo's gaze didn't go to Lorcan as he spoke, heat or no heat her feelings in regards to him seemed a permanent thing. He didn't deserve the respect he was demanding, not in her eyes anyway. She had no questions, why should she. Cheedo knew her place, she knew the role she wanted and most of all she knew her job now that they were going to he a pack. She just wanted to escape back to her little divet in the ground.

She didn’t have anything to say - not because she was displeased with Piety or Lorcan or almost anyone else for that matter, but because she didn’t feel like she belonged. Like someone accidentally put a piece from a different puzzle in this particular box. Like someone was trying to light a fire by using water. It was just obvious that it wouldn’t work.

And yet here she was...

Yeah, sure, roles and shit. That was fine, but she didn’t think she would fit into any of them either. If she were bigger, she might be a good guardian, but as it stood... that wasn’t really on the table for her.

So she remained silent, not really looking at anyone else in the group, but instead keeping her eyes on her paws. This would all be over soon enough.

Piety Santoro
Last round for exit posts, no posting order. Archiving on April 3 or when everyone responds. @Lorcan @Cyril @Odin @Kip @Lenae @Cheedo

Her tail gave a few sweeps over her back at Lorcan's words. Ah yes, roles. She had a feeling for the few of them who had had roles back at the Monadnock but the rest were unknown. Hopefully, they'd find themselves working towards something or at least they'd be dutiful subordinates.

There were no questions though which meant little was left to be said by the ruling pair. "Well then, let's get out there. Mark borders and make sure our presence is strongly known. After that is done, make yourself at home." A low woof of dismissal was given before she would turn around and begin to head towards the southern borders.

Lenae Selwyn

It was time. Lenae had never established a pack before, she had only ever settled into one long after it's creation. She supposed that it couldn't be all that difficult, that it was simply a matter of marking here and there to draw out their borders. Lenae could do that, her scent alone wasn't very intimidating but together their scents would carry a sense of importance. As though they belonged here, that this land was theirs.

Nodding her head in understanding, Lenae trailed after Piety-forever her tawny shadow. Perhaps the Tarn would be a wonderful home, perhaps all of her worries were for naught. She supposed there was only one way to find out.

Golden eyes glanced around to the others within the group, curious to see if any of them had any questions or comments. When they all remained silent, Lorcan took that as a sign that they were all contented for now or perhaps wished to discuss things later, in private. So be it. The agouti male gave a sharp nod of his head to acknowledge their lack of questions, an expectant smile growing on his charcoal lips, before he turned to look back to Piety.

Black-tipped tail began to sway with pride as the pale female, his new co-lead, gave out her order to mark the borders. This was it. Things were finally setting into motion. It wouldn't take long for the small group to mark the territory with their collective scent and claim the land as their own, and once they had, their new life together within Clearwater Tarn would begin. Excitement stirred within the male as Piety let out a low woof in dismissal, and he watched her and Lenae begin to depart towards the southern borders before setting off himself in the opposite direction, tail still swaying happily. Lorcan would head towards the northern borders and work his way around the territory before eventually meeting up with the others later on.

Cheedo

She was glad for the dismissal that Piety gave glad for the chance to escape. Marking borders, it was probably not a good idea for her to do so until her heat was over. They last thing they needed we're more men sniffing around. Now that they were officially a pack any hopes of a family or to have something like what those around her were dashed.

It was best she returned to the dutiful servant she'd been, what it her choice did she have? Gave in last glance to the gathered group before turning back the way she'd come. She could hear her hiding place calling her name. It was where she belonged until her heat passed or it was requested she serve the pack somehow.

Cyril Kael-Santoro
He glanced around at the group, his expression neutral. It was a good place—he knew that. It would be good for them, especially his mother. He was still irritated, the excitement of a new home wouldn’t defuse that, but it was still good to have a place to call home. Especially with familiar faces. He’d work to finding a role that suited him once they settled in and he neared his first birthday. But, for now, he would do as his mother asked and mark their new borders. He nodded silently before dismissing himself, his dark ears tucked along the side of his head as he went in the direction of the western borders. He’d join the rest of them later, as for now he wanted a few moments to himself. To process.

Cyril exit.
