The Eastfall-Slayer children's tones and frustrations mirrored one another as time continued on with no rewards for their curiosity. All that was there was the stench with no source. Had Matos been alone she surely would've thought he was just imagining things. Dual colored orbs saw nothing out of the ordinary in their surroundings. He wasn't one to give up easily but this was beginning to seem like a lost cause.

"Mmm," Magg hummed as she considered. She didn't want to give up either, not when it felt like they were practically on top of it. Her earthy eyes scanned the panorama of their surroundings slowly, cautiously once again as though it would click any second now. Nothing.
".... fiiiiiine," she at last groaned, practically pulling herself away from the scene.
"Let's go fast, before I change my mind!" Perhaps she should have waited for a response, but instead the young girl took off like a shot. Otherwise, she wouldn't be able to stop looking and would just drag her paws. They'd find something to distract themselves with elsewhere, she was sure of it.
