Reed Acoy
As Reed chewed down the fish, he observed Elettra through the corners of his eyes. She had just finished thoroughly de-scaling her meal. Smiling within his mind, he swallowed the remains of his kill, looking fully to her now. "Reed, by the way." His voice was even as he introduced himself; he would not take insult if the woman did not state her name in return. He would understand; some wished to remain anonymous, mainly for their own safety and security. Curiosity pricked at the russet man, and he soon parted his jaws to ask her a question.

"Do you have others that you travel with? The way you spoke earlier made it seem that way." He hoped that he wasn't prodding at the female with his question. Reed had no intentions of making Elettra feel as if she was being interrogated. Shaking his head at himself, he lowered his muzzle to the water. Tongue lapped at the water quickly, washing down the rough scales. He never really bothered to removed the scales, but when he did, he was exceptionally fast. He had discovered a method to remove the scales with ease, but perhaps he would show the woman some other time.

Elettra Archer
Her head rose to his words then, offering his name and she took yet another moment to study him, matching the name of a simple 'Reed' with his appearance and taking yet another notation of his thick, southern drawl. Compared to her Italian tongue, they were far from one another in voice, but his growling tones intrigued her, prickling the dark greying hairs at her backside. "Elettra Archer." she introduced in full, not hiding whom she was as he might of thought. She wanted the world to know her name.
She licks her maw and to his next question, her ears perked. She was not the kind of woman whom would spill out her life story, but if she was going to get anywhere with forming a pack, she had to openly speak it. However, she had no intention of having just anyone join her ranks. The woman had already become picky with her followers, as it were. "Yes, actually- my intentions should be made clear." She pauses, for but a moment. If he was interested in knowing, she would not hide it, not when she could consider him an alliance to her or...a member. "I plan to form my own pack. The time is drawing near..." Already, she had discussed with Koda of his new placement within the pack until time allowed her to find a male she was more 'physically interested in' to join her side. Remy was another devoted member to this group and although Kyrie had not been seen in some time, Elettra had yet to give up on the small, creamy young woman. Not to mention Lifdis and her daughter, though their intentions of truly joining had yet to be certain. For the time being, she could only rely on whom she knew were still with her: Koda and Remy.

Elettra Archer. Registering her name within his mind, he nodded along, fascinated with her next sentences. "By chance, are you looking for any others for this potential pack?" He needed a pack to call home, and this female seemed kind enough. Perhaps she'd be willing to accept him...but maybe not. Briefly he wondered if she would cast him off with some sort of challenge; a task of some sort. An initiation. That would be a pain in the ass.

The time is drawing near. Oh, good. So, if she was to accept him, it would not be long until all the wolves had gathered together. He stood, paws soaked as he awaited her reply. Then, another question wrapped itself around his mind, and he had to ask. "Any specific reason you are forming your own? I've yet to experience any pack around here. Is there something wrong with them?"

He was serious; his face was stoic. Although he was very interested with this new pack being formed, he did not let any expression overtake his face. The sun disappeared behind a massive gray cloud now, casting shadows over the couple standing near the river. A wind rippled through their fur, hissing that rain would soon be on its way.

When he questioned if she was still accepting others, her ears perked furthermore in interest. He had shown skill in an area of which she did not hold (and knowing other members of her to-be pack, at least one of them, did not hold ether) and for that, he would fit in a placement within the group. There was a healer, a guardian, a true warrior and well hunter and for the moment known for, a fisherman. He had not been overly friendly nor extremely submissive to her ether and for this, it showed a further interest to her. She did not want fools in her pack, who with their friendly attitude bring strangers who could prove a danger in her home. Elettra didn't want submissive and horridly shy wolves ether, who would be push-overs and a weakness to the pack. Perhaps the woman was picky, but it was not without justification.
When he rose to his feet, Elettra did so the same to match him, her attention for a moment turning to the darkening sky which now smothered the sun. She nods to his first question before speaking the rest: "To put it simply...Recent events reminded me that my blood runs to royalty. I'm a leader, not a follower." Her pride in her name and in herself would not be mistaken. It was an unshakable boldness that he would ether accept, or regret and it was here where it would be decided if he would be willing to serve her or not. There was little room for questionable devotion and easily broken loyalty amongst her ranks. Finally then, her gaze turned once more to the wolf before her, curious of what else he might ask (for he held many questions) of her.

Hmm. Perhaps he need not to venture any more into these lands in search of a pack. This woman seemed intelligent, as well as strong. Her intuition was sharp, and she seemed to be no fool. He'd have smiled, but now was not the time. His face remained a blank canvas as he looked at the clouds. The scent of rain was still within the air, and would soon refresh as the water fell once more. "Miss Archer, would you consider a man such as myself to be considered part of your brethren?"

He wanted to get straight to the point. No, Reed was most certainly not a wolf who would beat around the bush. He was an honest creature when need be, and quite blunt at that. As he spoke of his question, his pale eyes met her own pale gray ones. Eye contact always met something serious, and he did not break it until her answer or perhaps question would break from her muzzle.

A pack. It would be nice, yes. He hated life on his own; he was one who belonged with others. An excellent hunter as well as a seasoned fighter, he would consider himself a great addition to any pack. He was not a wolf who could be manipulated- his mind was solid, as well as his body.

His expression was stern, a hard lock upon her, but she would not take it as a challenge. Behind his gaze, was not judgement. He was not sizing her up for she had fought these stares before with her own. No, he was only offering her his full attention, serious in his expression as he was serious in his question: Reed wanted to be a part of her pack.
Elettra takes a moment to consider, her eyes breaking from his own only to dance along the length of his body: average in sizing for a male wolf, as she was average in sizing to a woman. Already, Elettra harbored two large brethren within her ranks (Koda and Remy) who offered their utmost strengths in seemingly a task of guardian-ship. Elettra was famous in the art of healing. having had various apprentices formerly from her last pack and from others within Relic Lore. Narime had willingly pushed herself for the hunting role, though she still had much to grow. She was large, but mainly in height with long, towering limbs and quick on her footing. Though Kyrie had yet to offer a placement, surely she would find her place, should she meet up with them again. And now, was Reed.
His obvious skill in hunting, at least in fishing, was unmatched and something she appreciated. It was something Elettra admittedly could not do herself and for that, she valued the wolf. When herbs were not near or plentiful, it would be Reed's skills needed to help the pack survive. With his skill, the group as a whole would harbor a larger range of prey to choose from. A smirk presses to Elettra's mug, offering a nod to the russet and red colored male. "I would, Reed." She pauses to turn her attention to the sky before back down to him. "I've decided to take a part of Drooping Willows as my own. Follow the edge of the mountain range south and you will find these lands. They expand from the mountains to the west, all the way to the Lagoon." She explains, so that he might find it easier to find the group when the time came to make themselves formerly a pack. "Perhaps its time we part, for the night?" Her attention casts to the skies which dared to break, spilling over the lands in thunderous showers. She'd like to take cover soon, for any risk of sickness from being a little 'under the weather' could not be risked at this point in her life.

Reed Acoy
Just going to end it now <3

In silence, the rustic man watched as Elettra swam in her thoughts. Her pale gray eyes scanned over him before words flowed out from her muzzle. I would, Reed. Great. Now he has a new home. With a small smile, he dipped his head in appreciation to the black coated woman. "Much obliged, Elettra." After closing his jaws, the man listened carefully to her next sentences. The location of where the pack would be. By her description of location, it seemed that it would not be too difficult to find.

Nodding his head to her words of closing this encounter, he spoke "I will see you again soon." With these words, he glanced at the curvy female before turning, volant with his walking as he decided to part in a totally different direction. Maybe he would go and scope out the land she speaks of. It is dowsed in willows; a tree he had never seen all that much.

As he slipped away, his mind became silent- barely any thoughts whirred about within it. Was it because he was finally settled; he did not have to look any more? Shaking his head, Reed allowed himself to chuckle before continuing onward...
