<b style="font-family:georgia; font-size:12px; color:#5A2850;">

I really hope this isn't terrible. I was really tired when I wrote it D:

It was still a mystery to her how this stranger had come into her life so suddenly. All at once everything she ever knew had been turned upside down. His warm presence told her that she didn't have to live with a fuzzy head all of the time. It was possible to clear her mind, forget all of her troubles and just feel free again. When her mind buzzed with worry, or despair, she could look at him and know that not everything was a mess. There would always be some good in the world, whether anyone chose to acknowledge it or not. In this life she had to look at the little things; notice each and every last detail. In the grand scheme of things, Capella seemed to be just a blip on the radar, as did Lachesis, but to her he was more than that. He was the only flame lit in a dark room. A guiding force, driving her to be better for herself and for him. She couldn't let her mind weigh her down while he was near. It wouldn't be good for either of them. He might think it his fault, and she would be too upset to really understand what was happening around her. When she would go into one of those states it was as if the rest of the world turned off, and she just had to go. Move, run, walk, whatever you wanted to call it. She just had to, but with him next to her, maybe she was different. The sunny eyed girl wasn't defined by her problems, but rather be the one defining them. She hoped that one day she could conquer them. The nightmares would have to stop then, wouldn't they? With Lachesis though, she let herself believe. It could have been foolish to think, like the tales told by mothers to their cubs. The ones that would pass down from generation to generation, allowing little ones to trust in stories that held no real meaning, warping their ideas of the real world. Fortunately though, she was still young, and she had a right to think whatever she wanted. Especially when it came to herself.

Their time together was drawing to a close, and she could tell it in the way the scent of the forest hit her nose. The air held an openness to it, signaling the end of the treeline ahead. Her heart dropped with the realization that they really weren't going to have days on end together. There would be no endless nights spent under the moonlight, romping about carelessly. No awakening to begin another day together. Unfortunately, everything in life had to finish. Whether it was friendship, happiness, or life; Finality clawed mercilessly at all of it with no regards to anything but it's own selfish reasoning. Nothing was allowed to continue on forever, and at some point things had to change. If not now, then some day. Her life had changed so much in the blink of an eye, and it was about to do it again. It wouldn't be long before her companion would part from her, off on an adventure with Anastasia. She would return home to Shade, and his mate, perhaps on an adventure of her own. When she tried to compare her current path to his she found that there were many differences, but the similarities seemed to outweigh them. They both wanted happiness, and stability. Each wolf craved the love of a family, but she felt he might also want a home to call his own. He felt as though he was holding Ana back because he couldn't integrate into a pack just yet, but she knew this wasn't the case. Anastasia had a home with Lachesis. Den's could be made anywhere, at any time, but it was the ones you shared it with that really made it home. At least that was what she felt a home would be. The dandelion eyed girl knew her home was back in the foggy woods with Shade, but it was also here. With Lachesis she had found understanding, stability, and happiness. With him, she was home.

His light response brought a smile back onto her lips. He was trying to change the subject, or keep the conversation upbeat. Allowing the heavier subject to drop from her mind, she made peace in knowing there would be time later. Any other day they could talk about their fears, for surely there would be another day. If he didn't find her, she would seek him out and vice versa. Their paths had already intertwined, and she could only trust they would pass one another again. Hopefully sooner than later, but she would take later if she had to. If only it meant she could see the bright male again, she could wait years. Finally speaking, she chose to keep her tone lively, vacant of the mood that had been set before. <b style="font-family:georgia; font-size:12px; color:#5A2850;">"I'm saying it because you are wonderful, even if you are a puppy eating monster!" A playful gleam returned to her eyes as she looked upon him, and she let her shoulder smack into him. He was a part of her mishpocha now. A piece of the puzzle that made up her new family, and she couldn't be happier.

Lachesis "XIX" Stark
this could've been better, i sorry, i'm just blah and need to go to bed <3 ALSO THREE PAGESSS WEEEEEE
Although Lachesis enjoyed talking to his bright-eyed friend about the thoughts that plagued his mind and the secrets he kept tucked away, the yearling knew that their time together was drawing short. Because of this XIX wanted to end their first meeting (and all upcoming meetings) on a positive note. There would be more time to trade secrets when they crossed paths again, but while he had her in his company now the boy wanted to keep the conversation light and enjoy the rest of the time he had with her. His attempt to change the topic had been obvious, but the pear-eyed boy knew that Pella wouldn’t mind. She understood him – perhaps more than Anastasia did, and knowing that comforted the young boy. No matter what happened, he knew that he would always have the sunflower-eyed girl to depend on, to confide in, and to have fun with. Their bond was infinite, stretching over the distance that would soon separate them, and was indestructible.
The sun was weaving its way through the tree branches, the scents shifting as they drew closer to the end of the woods. In the distance he could hear birds chirping as they greeted the warmth of the sun, and soon the rest of Relic Lore would began to wake up as well. Lachesis didn’t consider himself nocturnal, but he did like wandering after the sun had fallen from the sky. He preferred having Anastasia’s company when he was out exploring, but sometimes the yearling just liked being alone. It often meant being haunted by his memories, but he couldn’t avoid them forever. His past would always remain a part of him no matter how badly he wanted to forget it. Fate was a twisted mistress, and XIX knew that the things that had happened to him in the past had been for a reason. Meeting Anastasia, coming to Relic Lore – everything had happened because it was supposed to happen. Lachesis was unstable in the sense that he was constantly changing and shifting to better himself – this would, in turn, aid XIX in helping those around him.
His crooked smile remained glued to his maw as she spoke and nipped at her ear after she had shoulder-checked him, tail wagging enthusiastically behind him. No matter the topic, conversation with Capella was easy and comfortable. Even if the topic wasn’t one that XIX enjoyed discussing, the words flowed effortlessly off his tongue to share with the yellow-eyed girl. She was open-minded and her responses were honest – exactly what the pale yearling needed. With others, Nineteen would only share so much before clamming up and storing his secrets in the dark corners of his mind. However, with Capella the boy wanted to spill everything at once and for her to do the same – but if that was the case, they would be talking for days and eventually grow tired of each other (something that he hoped would never happen). <b style="font-family:georgia; font-size:12px; color:#19434A;">“D-didn’t you know, s-sunshine? Puppy eating m-monsters are always the n-nicest,” he cooed with a wink as he glanced at the slender female. <b style="font-family:georgia; font-size:12px; color:#19434A;">“I’m g-gonna m-miss you…” he admitted in a small voice, the words pouring from within him before he could mull them over. <b style="font-family:georgia; font-size:12px; color:#19434A;">“I will be b-back soon.”

Capella wasn't sure if she believed in fate, but if it was real, then she knew that this was supposed to happen. He had to come into her life, and then he had to leave again. If she fell apart after he left, then maybe there would be a reason for it, and if she didn't then maybe there would be a reason for that too. The future was inevitable, it was going to happen whether she wanted it or not, and she was going to have to deal with it. If fate wasn't real, and every wolf made their own decisions, then she was concerned that she might be making the wrong one. It would be so easy to go with him, and she would be able to live with a clear head, but she couldn't do that to Shade. Though what if staying with Shade was wrong too? What if he left her? Her mind was buzzing with questions, and she had to turn them off. Lach didn't need to see her like that, not yet anyways.

The creamy girl let her eyes fall on her companion. She was going to miss the stutter she had already grown accustomed to, as well as the brightness of his eyes. Actually, she was going to miss everything abut him, and she couldn't help but wonder if he was going to miss anything about her. The pair had known each other for such a short time, and still she felt like she was losing a part of herself. Soon. She had to keep telling herself that he would be back soon, and when he returned they could chase birds, or swim. They could just sit and talk; It didn't matter to her, so long as they were together. Though a thought was eating away at her, what if things were different the next time they met? What if he didn't feel like sharing with her, or playing around? She hoped that things would stay the same.

Change was one of her greatest, and yet it was an unstoppable force. Lachesis had changed her life forever, and from this point on it was never going to be the same. She would always share a special bond with him. One that no one else could touch, and she would keep it in her heart for the rest of her natural life. The air around her felt heavy with loss as she thought of how they were going to be apart soon, but she didn't let it show. She had to make sure that their last few minutes together would end on a happy note, and so she let a smile slip across her maw. Who was she going to call a puppy-eater now? With a sigh, she moved toward him, nuzzling into his neck. <b style="font-family:georgia; font-size:12px; color:#5A2850;">"I'm going to miss you too, Lachesis.", and honestly she would. He was going to be missed more than anyone could ever know.

Lachesis "XIX" Stark
weeee bit shorter this time :x
The ghost was worried about leaving his new friend – she had her own demons that haunted her, and XIX was concerned that they would return with a vengeance after he had kept them at bay during their time together. He knew, that once her scent no longer lingered, his own memories would plague him once more. It was unavoidable and Lachesis knew that the only way for his past to no longer bother him was to accept it; however, for the nervous wreck, this was not a simple task. He still felt guilty for leaving – it had not been his choice, and Lachesis often wondered what his mother thought about his sudden departure. Was she upset with him for leaving? Did she feel like she had not done enough to make him happy? What about Thalia – did she feel betrayed that he had not informed her that he was going to be leaving? XIX had not planned to leave, he had been comfortable and satisfied with life in the Pack. If it had not been for Pyrrhus forcing him to leave, after Sarpedon had backed down, the lanky teenager would still be at the Reserve.
Pyrrhus… that was another memory constantly resurfacing, accompanied by an unbearable guilt. The loner knew he should have gone back to search for his brother after the creature had separated them, but he had been fuelled by fear and did not stop running until his paws bled. XIX liked to think that his hot-headed brother was still alive and had either made his way back to the Pack or found a home elsewhere.
Up ahead the trees began to decrease in number as they opened up to the mountains that divided East from West. A sense of relief had washed over him but disappointment followed quickly after. Lachesis differed from most wolves in the sense that he enjoyed being out in the open – except for right now. Being out of the woods meant leaving Capella behind, something the boy did not want to do. He felt as though he was leaving a piece of himself behind – but Anastasia was home and he had to return to her. Perhaps he could convince her to join the promising group of wolves that resided within the Woods; if not, XIX would work something out to see her again. A promise was a promise, and Lachesis was not going to go back on his word. <b style="font-family:georgia; font-size:12px; color:#19434A;">“D-don’t miss m-me too much, I’ll be b-back before you know it, s-sunshine,” he responded quietly as they stepped out of the forest, using the nickname once more – the loner felt as though it suited her. He stopped suddenly as he gnawed nervously on his lower lip, ears pressed against the back of his skull as he avoided her gaze. It was evident that he didn’t want to leave, and that she didn’t want him to leave, but Lachesis could not be persuaded to leave nor could she.

<b style="font-family:georgia; font-size:12px; color:#5A2850;">

Capella couldn't help but wonder if he ever experienced the same feeling she did when his demons were attacking. Did fog sneak it's way into his brain keeping him from functioning properly? Maybe it did, and she wasn't alone. Could Anastasia keep them away, or would he have to look elsewhere? Still so many things about him that she wanted to know, and not nearly enough time. All she could do would be to hope that they would have time in the future for questions like that. When he returned, maybe she could ask him, or maybe she would have to live with not knowing. Either way, she would enjoy his company, and her questions would continue to grow. Another problem she was having was wondering if he was going to be alright without her. Surely Ana would be there to care for him, but it wasn't good enough. It wasn't her. Obviously he had made it this far without her, but there was still an unsettled feeling in her stomach. How was she to know if he made it all of the way home safe? There were a number of unsavory things that could happen to a wolf traveling alone.

A sigh escaped her lips right before his words found her ears. She quite liked the nickname he had given her, and she decided she would have to think up her own for him. He told her not to miss him too much, but she wasn't sure if it was possible to not miss him too much. Though again the fear struck her that he might not miss her at all. If he ran back to Anastasia, then realized that Capella was not nearly as fun as he remembered, would he still want to see her? Would they still be able to meet up, and spend the day together? The ghost-like male was her probably her closest friend already, and she was desperately afraid of losing him. The creamy girl knew that she wasn't perfect, nor was she the most entertaining. She didn't have a whole lot to offer in those departments, and she was always afraid that she wasn't good enough. Unfortunately the opinions of those around her mattered a little too much to her.

A break through the trees presented the mountains that she was dreading. A quick look toward Lachesis had told her that he'd seen them too. Both of them knew that the time they had left was growing shorter with every step they took and she thought it might be alright to just balk. If she just stopped now, decided not to take another step forward, would he just stay with her? Capella's own mind answered her question with a 'no'. He had to get back to Ana, for she was likely worried about her traveling partner. A small smile returned to her muzzle as she spoke, trying for him, to sound happy. <b style="font-family:georgia; font-size:12px; color:#5A2850;">"Oh don't worry, I couldn't miss a puppy-eater like you." Her tone even held a playfulness to it that surprised her. He was really going to be missed, and she was not excited for the trip home.

Lachesis "XIX" Stark
FIRST LAPELLA THREAD IS FINALLY DONE 3 PAGES LATER WEEEEEEE <333 I'mma archive dis now!
He didn’t like this feeling, at all. It was like leaving his family behind all over again – memories swarmed him, taking hold as his vision began to grow blurry around the edges. He wanted to stay here, not return to the temporary home that he and Anastasia had fixed for themselves. This, here with Capella and the small group of wolves that inhabited the Woods, was home. Of course, with his blue-eyed companion at his side as well. Lachesis desperately wanted to return to the Spring and drag his travelling partner back to the woods by the scruff of her neck, with his tail wagging frantically behind him the entire way. But that wasn’t fair to Ana, he had to give her a choice as well. As much as XIX knew how happy he would be within the foggy woods (he would force himself to get used to the eerie mist) Anastasia had to be happy as well. It was important for the boy to ensure that his friend was happy, regardless of what he wanted. Her needs were far more important than his own – but so were Capella’s needs, and she made it quite evident that she did not want him to leave.
However, the Arctic loner did not want his blue-eyed friend to worry – the sun was slowly rising to its peak as it spread its warmth, gently rousing the creatures of Relic Lore awake. The sun, although both welcoming and comforting, was also Nineteen’s cue to leave. His departure was only temporary; he would return soon, just as he had promised. How soon depended on when, or if, the travelling duo decided to move their temporary den location further South to investigate more territories. As soon as they moved Lachesis would be back – that was part of their promise: if either of them moved locations, they would notify the other. That way they could never lose each other. Upon first setting eyes on the pale, sunflower-eyed girl XIX had not expected their bond to be so immediate – she was an important part of his life now, and he was completely terrified of losing her.
The playful words to fall from her lips invoked a smile from the pale yearling, tail giving a gentle wag from behind him. Lachesis took a step closer to his new friend, his shoulder pressing against hers as a silence fell over them. The longer he stayed the more Ana was going to miss him and worry about him – the loner could not allow that to happen. If she was worrying then she wasn’t happy, and that was not alright. But leaving Capella… that meant she would be unhappy as well. It was a good lesson for the young Arctic – he could not make everyone happy and he was going to have to accept that (even if he didn’t want to). It was not going to be long before he would see his sunshine again, he just worried that she would forget about him while he was gone.
<b style="font-family:georgia; font-size:12px; color:#446819;">“S-soon.” He broke the silence before nuzzling her scruff, a lop-sided smile perched casually across his dark maw. He stepped away from her, a dull ache growing in his chest as the distance between them widened. <b style="font-family:georgia; font-size:12px; color:#446819;">“I’ll s-see you l-later, sunshine,” the boy called with a wink accenting his words, paws still moving as he took himself further away from the yellow-eyed girl. Saying ‘good-bye’ sounded so formal, so final – this definitely was not the last time the two wolves would be seeing each other. With a final, excited wag of his tail, the boy turned around to head back in the direction that he had come from before darkness had swallowed up the land. This time, the weather was in his favor and would illuminate the majority of his journey back to Anastasia.
He knew as soon as her scent disappeared his thoughts would be haunted by her presence, and would remain that way until they crossed paths once again.
