Inali Wayha

Inali had continued to be silent for the rest of the time, her eyes attentive to the young woman in front of her. Even if Minka was like a sister to her, Malia was her first concern. Another thing that she had noticed was that sometime between the rising events, Asterion had sneaked away. It angered her, there was no doubt about that. How could he leave his pack mates, Minka especially, in the mist of danger. But now as not the time to worry about the coward, since the woman who seemed protective over Malia, began to speak.

It was a sort of compromise, and Inali guessed that was all she could ask for. Inali 'woofed' so she could grab their attention. She opened her maws to speak, a compromise of her own dancing along her tongue. In a clear voice, she spoke. "Grab Malia. I'll take you to our borders." She turned her eyes from the woman to Minka. With a flick of her tail, she signaled for her to run behind the woman. If the woman tried any funny buisness against her, she knew Minka would have her back.

"Try to keep up," the young scout stated with a small smile. But it quickly dimmed. She just wanted this to end, to have Malia back on safe ground. Preferably, before Nari skinned them all alive. With those thoughts cruising through her head, she began to run, her lithe body weaving through the fiery red flowers with ease.

Narimé Lagina

She was frantic.

When Narimé had first realized that Malia had slipped away right out from under her nose the silver wolf went mad searching around the den site for her daughter. However she couldn't leave the boys alone in order to get the runaway child. It wasn't so much that she was angry at Malia as the mother was feeling concerned, worried, and scared that something might happen to the pup while the young Thorben princess explored.

It wasn't until a somewhat familiar but faint howl echoed across the land asking for Sloane and herself that Nari almost blew a fuse. I have no time for this! She paced just outside the little birthing den with bristling silver fur arching over her narrow shoulders and silver tail whipping aggressively through the air.

"Titan, Yuka stay here or else you'll be in lots of trouble like your sister is going to be in when I find her." Narimé padded over to Titan who seemed to be ducking his head in response to her anger, and Yuka who stared up at her with wide eyes. Licking them once on their foreheads she spoke "..my good boys..." Then the silver wolf turned and immediately began tracking her daughters scent trail into the territory.

As the distraught mother headed out she realize that her daughters trail was headed right in the same direction that the familiar call had come from. Her pace quickened worry clear on her gray face bending her brow down in concern. She let loose a long loud howl calling for Malia specifically. Then the howl was cut a little short by Nari's quickened breathing as she ran forward far over the border by this time.

She was unhappy with the fact that the closer she got to the faint howl from before the stronger her daughters scent grew. Soon the worried mother realized that three other scents had crisscrossed onto the very trail she followed. Her fur bristled but the woman felt slight relief knowing that Minka and Inali were hard on her daughters trail. She spotted the wolves in the distance among the red hued flowers and snarled. She could see from her vantage point how ruffled up the four wolves fur was as if they had already scuffled over something.

When she came upon the scene Nari felt every part of her body become rigid. She slowed her pace to a stop passing by Minka and Inali both then stared dangerously towards the she wolf standing above her daughter. The Cavern's Alpha recognized an old friends face, in fact both the female and the male that stood protectively near her daughter.

"Hotei, Jessie..." Nari greeted the familiar wolves and kept the growl in her voice to a minimum then stepped forward towards Jessie and her daughter. "Malia. You know your in trouble so be good now and come here." She paused at what should be an uncomfortable distance of only a foot an a half away from Jessie. The silver wolf used her natural height to look down on the gray female and flicked her tail into a higher position.

"So what happened here Jessie?" Her question was simple as Nari watched the emerald eyed she wolf carefully awaiting an answer. Was she trying to steal Malia away? Or were the two wolves trying to help? She was more inclined to think that they were only trying to help. However if that was the case then why hadn't they simply handed over the pup to her subordinates?

Jessie Tainn

She was still oh so tense and even the compromise had her unbelieving. At least one of the women in front of her was sensible, but just as she was about to make the move to gently lift up Malia by the scruff, the woman she had originally called for had come. It had taken her long enough but the mother looked worried and Jessie could only assume that the reason she had taken so long was because she had been looking for her daughter all along. Perhaps if she would have come over the problem in front of them would not have arisen and Minka and Jessie would not have gotten in a scuffle. It was visible that she relaxed in Narimé’s presence and at the mother’s demand for her pup Jessie straightened and nudged the small, frightened pup gently from beneath her and towards her mother. She truly was a beautiful pup that looked much like Sloane and that might have been another one of the reasons why she had acted so irrationally. Sloane was one of her closer friends and if anything were to happen to him or a family member of his, she would see to it personally. It was what made her so good at tracking and hunting others down.

Now with Malia safely out of her reach Jessie bowed down in front of the woman, giving her the proper respects she had failed to show both of her subordinates. Clearing her throat, she spoke with soft, calm tones, explaining herself, "Lady Narimé…I found Malia wandering in Fireweed Rise and traveled back here with her. I tried calling for you, but these two and another showed up. I wasn’t sure of their intentions and did not wish to let your daughter go until I was sure that either you or Sloane were present…especially after the…events…that have already taken place...and...Minka and I might have gotten a little more...physical with our interactions." It was no secret to Narimé that Jessie had once been a Swift River wolf and it was also no secret to any pack that Swift River had gotten their pup napped from them, right under their noses. That had been a dramatic time for Jessie and she found she was more protective over any pups since those days. She had not been well when they had gone out to war and so Jess had remained within the confines of the borders. Hopefully the young alpha would understand where she was coming from. Still she hurt from the tragedy of losing Rissa and having the thought of a mother having to go through such a thing made her pain all the worse. Narimé would thankfully, not have to go through such a thing.

Narimé Lagina
Just pulling her out quick
@Jessie

Narimé was instantly relieved when Jessie set down Malia and pushed the girl towards her. Her shivering gray hackles lay flat once more and Nari lowered her head to nose her pup thoroughly looking for injuries or problems of any kind. "Are you okay Malia?" Nari waited for an answer then tilted her gaze back up to Jessie as the gray she wolf answered her.

She nodded in understanding as Jessie explained the ruckus that had occurred over one little lost princess. However it still struck her as odd that her friend had not simply given the pup to her own pack mates. Unknown to the silver hunter were the events Jessie was thinking of. The young alpha knew nothing of Swift Rivers move or the events that took place with one of their own pups. Nobody had told the inexperienced young alpha about the war that had taken place.

"..and what...events took place that made you think that it was unsafe to give Malia to my subordinates? A part from a scuffle. It should still be logical to hand her over to them. " She asked this with a less serious tone now even lowering her tail a little more neutrally and averting her gaze to look down at Malia.

Narimé sighed. Whatever had happened and for whatever reasons it was all over now. There was nothing else to do except head back to the den with Malia in tow. Shaking her head and turning to move towards her territory Nari poked Malia gently with her nose urging the girl to move forward. "I think It's about time for us to go home." She turned her head back to look towards Hotei and Jessie. "I'm sorry about the issues today my old friends. I hope we can meet again on a better circumstances next time." She waved her tail in farewell but stood still waiting for any responses. Dipping her head in return to any answers the silver she wolf then turned and led the way home making sure that Malia was close by.

Hotei Tainn
Kasai was shaking his head huffing in annoyance as the other brownish red she wolf tried to compromise with Jessie's compromise. Helping a little girl out is taking much longer than expected. The dark male thought quietly while watching the stranger male pack wolf slip away into the meadow. The Kage's yellow orbs trailed after the cavern's man until he was out of sight hidden by the long grasses and fiery red flowers.

"What's with that guy? Did I scare the piss out of him?." He said in a low voice to Jessie with a crazy grin plastered on his dark maw. The Tainn held this look for a moment until he saw a streak of gray approaching rapidly behind the two remaining females. Then the scent reached him. The wolf they had been looking for had finally arrived. Albeit quite a bit late to the party of wolves each trying to claim and protect the little snotty girl shivering overwhelmed in the flowers. Kasai did not immediately recognize the woman who halted before them. At least he recognized the scent but not the sight of her. The scent said Narimé, the yearling he'd met quite some time ago along with Jessie. However she looked much different in the way she held herself as well as being physically taller than their last meeting.

Kasai had forgotten that Jessie mentioned Malia being Sloane and Narimé's pup. Or at least he didn't realize that he knew both the girls parents. Now seeing the silver she wolf approach Jessie, quite aggressively in body demeanor, the dark Tainn stepped forward getting as close to Jessie as possible eyeing the silver mother warily. "We only came to help Narimé..." He tried to sound like he had back then. Cheerful and friendly, but it was hard to do when the previously bubbly yearling was now looking at them with such a strong blue-purple stare. Kasai lowered his head and tail a bit in submission and glanced at Jessie who began explaining the scene more descriptively than he had.

Once she was done the silver wolf seemed..a little more relaxed. At least he was being stared at anymore. This allowed Kasai to relax some too copying the lowered neutral tail pose and allowing a relieved sigh to escape from his lips. At least the pup was truly safe now. Though he was weary to answer a question that had been directed towards Jessie. The dark wolf knew that Jessie, with her strong fiery personality could defend herself.

Malia Thorben

Minka seemed to have noticed her plight, and the familiar wolf's friendly gaze calmed Malia for a moment. The girl, despite her young age, realized that she must seem so helpless without her mother, causing a steely look to appear on her features. The Thorben adjusted her body to look confident, ears straight up and brown eyes calmly looking on as she took a steady breath to compose herself and take control of her fear. "I'm fine," she insisted to Minka. "I can stay out longer. These wolves don't scare me!" The thirst to prove herself to these older, wiser wolves returned in full force. Sitting her rump on the ground the female pondered whether or not she should try to run away instead, deeper into the red flowers that surrounded them.

All of these feelings and thoughts disappeared the moment she saw a gray and white shape approaching rapidly in the distance. Almost instantly the girl recognized her mother, tall, proud Narime, and her angry expression and whipping tail conveyed an emotion that Malia felt was best to avoid. Her ears flattened and she slunk forwards towards her mother. Eyes downcast and tail between her legs, Malia moved up against her mother, pushing her small face into the gray wolf's leg fur. Looking upwards at the sound of her name, the pup nodded to indicate that she was perfectly fine. Nothing had happened much other than a scuffle and some name-calling, and none of them had even tried to touch her.

Abandoning more thoughts of adventure for another day the female pup bounded after her mother, not before turning to send a challenging smile to her two new 'friends', Kasai and Jessie, trying her best not to be outdone. The rusty form then quickly trotted after her mother back towards the den, where scaredy-cats Titan and Yuka were most certainly waiting. A mischievous look with thoughts that matched passed on her features and ran through her mind. Maybe she would bite Yuka's tail once she got back? Or attacked Titan to show him who was boss? Either way, the world was filled with endless possibilities.

Inali Wayha
Wasnt for sure if I needed an exit post or not, so I decided to just go for it; this was fun:)

The rust-hued woman had only gone a few steps, when a familiar form appeared in the distance. It was a blur of silver, and according to the scent in the wind, it was her alpha. Breathing a soft sigh of relief, Inali knew that Nari would handle the rest of this situation. Her head dipped in a form of respect as her leader appeared, but Inali said nothing.

Not that it mattered, since Narimé breezed right past her and Minka in her haste to reach Malia. She watched as Nari relaxed her rigid posture as the woman, 'Jessie', pushed Malia her way.

Inali watched the following conversation, alert for any types of threats to ensue from the other two wolves. Hut her body relaxed slightly as the conversation finished. It seemed as if the two strangers knew Narimé from before. But how? She'd have to ask her alpha later, when the hustle and bustle of their lives died down a bit. Noting that their time was coming to an end, Inali watched as her leader took her leave, the pup diligently trotting after her.

Inali decided that it was time to take her leave also and she glanced at the two strangers. "Like Nari said, hopefully we'll meet again on better circumstances, unlike today. " No smile graced her features as she spoke. Her tone spoke of not total distrust, but weariness. Just because Nari had a reason to trust these wolves, didnt mean she had to. Even though the scent coming off the male was of Willow Ridge, an ally pack.

The young glanced at her silent friend, Minka, to see if she was ready to leave also. Giving her close friend a small smile, the young woman turned around and followed the fading forms of her alpha and the mischievous pup.
