OTM Voting & General Reminders

With the end of January almost upon us, I want to take the time to point everybody in the direction of the OTM Voting. Voting ends at midnight GMT, February 1st, so we be sure to get your votes in before then! It's been a busy month, so be sure to think about your choices carefully!

I also want to say thanks to everybody for being so patient with bug fixing after the board upgrade. It wasn't as smooth as of transition as I would have hoped and we're still working on ironing out some of the kinks. The bug list is much more manageable now, but if you're still having problems, please don't hesitate to post on the bug thread to let us know. We appreciate your continued patience! Some of the errors found can only be fixed by you guys, so please check below for instructions on how to fix them:

- If you're not receiving PMs, go to your UCP -> Board Settings and click submit. This will check your "Receive PM option" to yes.
- If you're avatar is too big, it's because you didn't follow the maximum guidelines prior to the upgrade! Please resubmit your avatar so it meets the maximum image guidelines.
- Apparently image URLs that start with a / cause an issue, so if yours does, take a look at it and make sure the URL is complete.
- If you quick edit your post or make a quick reply, the HTML in that post might not show up properly. Just refresh the page and it should be back to normal.

The staff would also like to issue some general reminders of problems that have begun and continue to crop up, so please read on and keep these items in mind.

- The chat box is for everyone, which means discussion should be suitable for everyone. Unacceptable behavior includes excessive swearing, bullying, arguing, flirting, and just being rude in general. If the staff sees unacceptable behavior, you will get a warning. If it continues, your ability to use the chat will be revoked. RoW isn't the place for any of these things to be occurring, especially publicly.

- We've noticed that many members don't feel the need to respond to staff PMs. If a staff member PMs you, please do us the courtesy of answering it. We always use PM tracking, so we know if you've read it, but not answering us doesn't make the situation go away. So please, be courteous and acknowledge that you've received the message so we can resolve the issue quickly and easily.

- Health Deductions occur every Sunday, so be sure to be on the lookout for food opportunities!
