He had thought that maybe Leotie would soften in the face of the girl's naivety, her kindness disallowing her from being harsh now that the threat was all but gone. It was one of the few times that Sven was glad to be wrong. She stood her ground, as equally careless for the young girl's apologies as the pale Archer had been. She even replayed her threat, growing more menacing despite the youth's submission. Sven had to fight to keep a smirk of pleasure from creeping over his lips.

He liked Leotie's tough side.

The girl did not need to be told again. Clearly perplexed on why they were being so unfriendly, she backed away without asking whatever other questions must be on her mind before slinking off altogether. Sven would stand watch for a few moments after all traces of her presence had vanished, and would be sure to spend some extra time minding the edges of their territory tonight to make sure that no one returned. After all, he thought he'd picked up a distinct whiff of male...

"Well done," he commended Leotie, now finally allowing his smile to show.

Leotie Rhys

Leotie had no intention of backing down, she didn't believe a word coming out of the girls mouth. Really, it was night and this girl was skirting the borders much too close for comfort. No, the Agouti woman didn't accept the story and she made it known through a more threatening demand for her to leave the territory. When the girl finally skittered away into the night and the Agouti woman could get sure she was gone did she relax falling back on her haunches in a sitting position.

Leotie was relieved that the girl was smart enough to leave when she did. Her tail swept the ground and a smile crossed her face as her blue gaze landed in the pale Archer at his praise. “Thank you, it my home now too. I have to do what is necessary to protect it.” And there was just something about the whole situation that seemed off to her. “And thank you for backing me up Sven.”

That's right. This was home, and it needed to be protected. That meant enforcing boundaries, being rigid in one's demands, not wasting time with trifles. If Leotie understood that, it helped Sven feel all the more confident in his methods.

He slid past her, rubbing his side against her's as he went and promising, "always," in return of her thanks.

He would go on to spend a good chunk of time remarking the area with his scent and ensuring that the ignorant girl had been the only soul creeping about.
