About Black Thorn Downs.
It was among controversy that Black Thorn Downs came into being. Minka Leigh first stepped up into a Leadership position when the previous alpha of Whisper Caverns Narimé Lagina, had gone on a mission over the mountains, which had taken much longer than expected. When the woman returned Minka reached out to Tokino Lagina about her desire to leave and start a pack of their own, together the became mates and began planning. When Ash Hervok and Narimé were made aware of these plans by Minka herself the pair declared war with anyone who chose to leave the pack with them. A meeting was called a couple of weeks later to explain to the pack what exactly was happening within the borders.
Just days before the final breaking point Minka met and recruited Lugh Whelan and Ryka Tiaroth, a young pair of wolves who were new to the realm of Relic Lore. After a brief meeting it was decided that the couple would join Minka and Tokino when they left the Caverns, which was expected to be in a few weeks.
After months of a civil war within the Whisper Caverns pack Tokino and Narimé engaged in a physical fight that left both parties injured. It was that very night that Ash banished the group from the Caverns and Minka, Tokino and Inali left without a backward glance at what had once been there home. The group sought refuge within the territory of Cut Rock River, and once the pack had been declared as an ally of the soon-to-be-established Black Thorn Downs, the band of wolves left in search of their new home. Restless, but determined, Minka and Tokino Lagina eventually led their followers - Inali Waya, Lugh Whelan and Ryka Tiaroth - to the Blackberry Fields within the northern part of Relic Lore, where they came to stake their claim.
Pack pride colors for Black Thorn Downs are "Berry Blossom Purple (#860092)" and "Blackberry Black (#363836)."

- Navigation: Northern part of Relic Lore, east of the Thicket of Secrets, north of the Wild Cherry Orchard, west of the Secluded Springs.
- Den Description: The northern edge of the Blackberry Fields creates a gentle slope as it approaches the nearby woods, here at the bottom of the hill thickets of blackberry bushes and trees intermingle. It is within these thick woods that the wolves of Black Thorn Downs have created their home, digging out a den beneath a fallen oak tree in the center of the territory. The foliage provides excellent cover from intruders, and those who are unfamiliar with the area run the risk of getting caught in the thorns that give Black Thorn Downs its name.

Notes & Trivia.
- Created out of civil war between two groups of Whisper Caverns wolves. This pack branched off and found peace far away from the caves in the northermost part of Lore.
- The borders are very clearly marked. It would be easy to see and find exactly where the territory starts.
