"They can be a bit tricky," he remarked. Feeling he would put the bug in Jessie's ear himself if necessary. Especially, since it seemed Leotie was interested in strengthening her skills. There was notice of a pause, but ears were cupped in her direction. Dark brows creased across his face bemused. He had spent a lot of his life in the Lore, he wasn't sure what humans were. "Huh, haven't heard much of them. Just how strange they appear. You'll have to tell me about it sometime." Which he felt was a good place to end for the moment, despite his curiosity on the issue.
Head snapped upward, swiftly he trotted over to stand beside her. It sure looked like one had gone this way, but he breathed in along the edges of the branch to be certain it wasn't some other critter. "That's definitely sheep," he muttered, tail sweeping behind him as he wore a half smile. From his point of view he found her incredibly helpful for the fact she was trying. He let her take a moment to register the scent itself, then continued in the direction. Some yards further there was more evidence, small piles of recycled food, and a lot more pungent. It only made him more eager to keep going, for this time of year there may just be some young ones. Fresh food would be a nice change. He kept a rapid pace, the scent continued, he suddenly paused. "All right, I'm not sure if we could actually get one. But can't hurt to see if we can get close hmm?"
