Since he had found his new home in Paradise Falls, he was told by his pack leaders to investigate the surrounding area for any ideal locations to hunt. He decided to head over to the "Nightingale Palisade".
He followed the river as far as he could. The banks of the river went deeper and deeper till they formed a chasm. Without thinking it through properly, Toklo decided that he wanted to stay in the inside of the chasm, that way he could find some trout or tuna in the river. The fur on his nape stood up as he could feel that a storm could be coming, but he had also found the perfect spot to fish. “No way,” He thought in disbelief, “There’s hardly a cloud in the sky! I should be fine if I only stay here for a minute or two.”. As he was thinking this, he thought for a brief second he could feel a raindrop plop onto his fur.
About an hour later, in mid-afternoon, he had caught a couple of rainbow trout. By now, a steady drizzle had formed, making the sides of the chasm turn into slippery mud. Then, in a loud roar, he heard water rushing down the river. Due to the amount of rain that came down, the river had flooded, causing a massive amount of water to come down stream.
Toklo grabbed the fish in his mouth and tried to climb up the side of the chasm, only to be too slippery from the mud. Desperately needing help, he did the only thing that he could think of, which was to howl as long and as loud as he could before the water swept him away.
