@Rashina ? unless ur busy and then take ur time <3

She was reserved, tucked away.

Most likely only seen by the eyes of her daughter or priestess. She wished to find things to busy herself with, but it all seemed so impossible. So silently she turned her gaze towards the future.

A better one where no one seemed to cough all day or when the sky did not seem so thick.

Yet she had not been able to bring herself together enough to try and read bones or to align her thoughts enough to take the next steps. All she knew was that any plans needed to be acted upon now. Her Bearkissed could not have died for naught. He would not have wanted his whole family to continue to toil in suffering.

This was rather grand thinking for the grief saddled woman though.

Who ambled aimlessly through the meadow in the first light of dawn.

After the death of Hagar, no one seemed to want to be in the willows any longer. All was quiet. Scarce, distant, as they waited for their next move. An already hot summer turned far hotter, the lands plagued. Their time to leave had become more and more necessary.

The burning in her throat had not eased. It was annoying, more then anything, where she felt the constant need to clear her throat again and again or to make soft, shallow coughs to stop the itching in it. It left her throat sore, hence the reasoning for her seeking out water often. Yet some of the water (like the pond she had visited north of Willow Ridge) had now become tainted with a sheet of ash.

As of now she followed the trail of Niamh. Rising from her placement close to @Deirdre and after the scent. She could smell her near, the scent mingled with smoke as everything else. At her placement here, she howled mournfully out to the woman.

A mournful sound.

A reminder. A widow's song. Still she rattled her brain and heart on such a title. A widow, already? So soon? They were not old, he should not have fell so easy to the air. It would haunt her forever and she could only hope there would be another life to look for him in.

Niamh was a ghost, though.

She weaved through the whistling winds of the meadow to get closer to Ra once more.

"Can I..." Her voice left her in a run-off hollow sound. Empty and desolate. A shrine to her sorrow. She wanted to push close and bury herself in the pale furs of the priestess.

"Come, Niamh." She said only, opening herself up to the woman's embrace. Standing firm on doe-like legs, so that the woman could toss the weight of her woes onto her.

Hagar's waning health had come long before the fire though the smoke had been the final nail in the coffin. Whatever plagued him inside, Ra did not know. What she did know, was that it was not Hagar which had given strength to the pack. It had been Niamh. Her arrival had brought new life into the willows. Her courtship with Hagar bringing the man up and making him step up. Change had been upon them.

It was a change which come far too late.

Ra would not say these things to Niamh. Not now. Maybe not ever. She only hoped that one day Niamh might see it for herself.
