As they moved, the dirt began to feel spongy beneath their weight. Lorcan couldn’t help but to give a little bound in puppyish delight, leaping through the air before bounding forwards a few steps. His wound was healing, thanks to the alabaster male’s help and it now felt less tight or itchy. Turning back to Emrys, salmon pink tongue lolled playfully from his mouth, before he turned back to glance around ahead of him. In the distance, through the trees and tall blades of grass, he could make out the reflective glimmer of water beneath sunlight. Desperate for a drink, Lorcan diverted his path towards the water, stopping to lap up the cool refreshing liquid.
Turning once again back to Emrys with water still dripping from his charcoal lips, now focused back on the task at hand, he called out to his travelling companion. “What kind of plants are we going to look for around here Emrys?”
