Toklo Finglaise
@Greyer

Since he had found his new home in Paradise Falls, he was told by his pack leaders to investigate the surrounding area for any ideal locations to hunt. He decided to head over to the "Nightingale Palisade".

He followed the river as far as he could. The banks of the river went deeper and deeper till they formed a chasm. Without thinking it through properly, Toklo decided that he wanted to stay in the inside of the chasm, that way he could find some trout or tuna in the river. The fur on his nape stood up as he could feel that a storm could be coming, but he had also found the perfect spot to fish. “No way,” He thought in disbelief, “There’s hardly a cloud in the sky! I should be fine if I only stay here for a minute or two.”. As he was thinking this, he thought for a brief second he could feel a raindrop plop onto his fur.

About an hour later, in mid-afternoon, he had caught a couple of rainbow trout. By now, a steady drizzle had formed, making the sides of the chasm turn into slippery mud. Then, in a loud roar, he heard water rushing down the river. Due to the amount of rain that came down, the river had flooded, causing a massive amount of water to come down stream.

Toklo grabbed the fish in his mouth and tried to climb up the side of the chasm, only to be too slippery from the mud. Desperately needing help, he did the only thing that he could think of, which was to howl as long and as loud as he could before the water swept him away.

Towser Lyall
Towser's wandering feet brought him further east as the weeks went on. Had he even found Relic Lore? Was this it? If it was...where were the wolves? His father's memories of Grizzly Hollow had been packed with wolves. His grandfather's stories of Willow Ridge and other familial packs made it seem even more so. Had he gone far enough? The Lyall wasn't even sure anymore.

His eyes lifted to observe the sky. His whiskers twitched as he felt the first droplets of rain. Winter had only just started to release its grip on the lands. That could only mean making way for the arrival of Spring with slush and potential floods. Being on level terrain and having been raised in a swamp and alongside rivers, Towser knew better. He had to get to a higher ground.

Another droplet hit him square on the nose and he shook his head. Ugh. Better get goin'..

Before he could even take a step, a panicked cry rang out, and, true to his nature, Towser started running. It didn't matter who it was. A Lyall always did what was right. The further he went, the more the rain came in sheets. Everywhere underfoot the hardpacked snow had turned to slush. He let out a few barks to let the stranger know they had been heard. On his way towards Log-Fall Foss, he slipped, skidding to a stop at the edge of the chasm.

A pair of curious green irises peered down and followed the lines of the rushing white waters. He squinted, barely making out the dark gray and white of the rogue in the mist and rainfall. But, then, there! He saw the glint of dull orange. A wolf eye...

"Hey!" he barked, tail lifting in a wave of hope as he crept to hang his paws over the crest of his perch. "You okay?!"
