About Cut Rock River.

In Fall of 2013, the Lore was hit by a brutal storm. The eastern region took the full force of it, turning acres of land into marsh-like territories. Within the valley, however, a specific territory was struck like no other, flooded by the onslaught of rain: the Secret Falls, home of the Darkwater Rapids’ wolves.

Maksim Baranski, the current leader, hurriedly tried to rally the members, to gather them for an evacuation. Many wolves came to heed his call, yet the founding leaders, Kade Attaya and his mate Ava Attaya, were nowhere to be seen. It seems the vicious storm had separated them from their pack, with only two of their children, Mace Attaya and Rowan Attaya, within their possession. Both Quil Attaya Lyall and Cinder Attaya found the remaining Darkwater wolves.

Those remaining members consisted of seven wolves. The newest recruits to Darkwater Rapids Astra Sellix and Hati “Taras” Roukan, a mute with the given name of Taras, one of Darkwater Rapid’s founding members Destin McBain, and, finally, Anastasia Starklen and Lachesis "XIX" Stark—otherwise known as Lachesis—, ex-members of Pitch Pine Trail. With not a moment to lose, the wolves of the now flooded Darkwater Rapids fled their home to resettle on the western region once more, braving harsh rain and harsher winds.

Traveling for almost a week was no easy task for the evacuees, but finally they came to a halt by a river in the western most part of Cedarwood Forest. In honour of the missing members of Darkwater Rapids, they staked their claim of the lands, calling the song of the newly born Cut Rock River pack.

Pack pride colors for Cut Rock River are Rugged Rock Brown (#584a3c) & Trickling Waters (#4F819E).

Pack Information.

Pack Beliefs
  • i. Remain loyal to your leaders and to the pack.
  • ii. Respect your pack mates; treat one another as if you were family.
  • iii. Strive for greatness! Be the best you can be.

Cut Rock River embodies many honourable traits: loyalty, strength, respect and bravery. If you wish to be a member of this pack, then you must strive to be the very best you can be. The members will not tolerate slackers, especially those of higher ranks. Wolves who show a strong sense of duty and respect of ranks will fit the pack well, though keep in mind that Maksim is of a Lawful Neutral alignment and, thus, he will not take kindly to disruptive behaviour in his lands.

The wolves of the River view each other as family—their bonds are strong and they do not easily accept loners past their borders. You must prove yourself to the leaders, speak with confidence but show proper respect. Empty words fall upon deaf ears and a lack of courtesy will earn a swift reprimand.

As a CRR member, you will be expected to work hard at gaining your role and even harder to maintain it. If you show enough dedication to your given tasks, a promotion to an advanced role may present itself. It is not a common occurrence; only the hardest working wolves will have a chance at gaining an advanced role. As stated before, laziness is not acceptable. Should you betray or abandon the pack, know that it is considered a punishable “offence” and you will most likely be attacked on sight.

Several intriguing smells can be found on the River wolves, though there are often defining elements that make up the pack's overall scent. Wolves of this pack are commonly found with the following scents well established on their coats: White Cedar (strong), White Fir (faint), Black Hawthorn (faint), moist soil (strong) and Maksim and Kisla Baranski (strong). It can be described as a “mossy”, “woody” or “earthy” scent.
