About Swift River.

Swift River is the aftermath of the vicious wildfire that ripped through The Wildwood destroying the home — and leaders — of the Hidden Tree pack. Determined for his family to continue even with the loss of their parents Indru Tainn founded the pack with his siblings, declaring the swift flowing river that passed through Sacred Grove their new home.

The pack has always been familial based; the majority of members are part of the Tainn family, most likely the children of Rihael and Lani, the founders of Hidden Tree. When the pack started they were without their parental figures and in a sense blind, as though the two oldest sons were of a mature age they had no experience running a pack, nor with their father not there to give them the orders. It was chaos at first but the pack settled and eventually picked up the healthy rhythm of a strong pack and still thrive at this moment even with the trials and tribulations they have faced since.

Pack pride colors for Swift River are "Swift as the Current Blue (#1A60CB)" and "Grove Flower Purple (#804A90)."

Important Events.

These are the noteworthy events that have taken place in the history of the Swift River pack. They can include pack meetings, changes in leadership, births or deaths, etc.

  1. 28/07/10
  2. The pack is founded when the siblings (Indru, Ruiko, Niija, Junai, Borlla, Honijo, Ioni, Triell and Kinis) gather after the wildfire and find their old pack destroyed and their parents dead.
  3. 12/09/10
  4. The current Leader, Indru, disappears not long after the drought begins and Ruiko, the current Second, calls a pack meeting. During this meeting their sister Ioni and her ally Weldering attempt to overthrow the pack's leadership. Indru returns from his absence, which was caused by severe dehydration, and he and his brother banish Ioni and chase Weldering from the pack.
  5. 29/10/10
  6. As the water entire disappears Indru decides to temporarily relocate most of their family in Swift River, which entirely consists of Tainns, to outside Relic Lore until the water returns. Ruiko stays behind with some others and takes on the Leadership role with the pack seriously depleted.
  7. 06/01/11
  8. As the water returns so does Indru and the rest of the family travel behind at their own pace. Indru takes Second position under Ruiko.
  9. 03/02/11
  10. Indru comes across Corinna weakened from the life of a lone wolf through winter and takes her back to Swift River. With the impending breeding season her presence stirs the long-awaited challenge for dominance between the brothers, which results in Ruiko leaving and Indru becoming the pack's Leader once more.
  11. 18/05/11
  12. Indru and Corinna welcome their first litter of cubs - Rihael, Kisla, and Fenru - into the world.
  13. 18/08/11
  14. Ruiko returns to Swift River after Corinna discovers that Indru, along with a few other pack members, has disappeared. Vowing to help the pack regain its bearings, Ruiko rejoins the pack.
  15. 24/08/11
  16. Indru comes back to Sacred Grove to a careworn Corinna. It is revealed that Triell was the only one who had stayed. Corinna allows him to come and, in turn, introduces the cubs to their father, properly, for the first time.
  17. 03/01/12
  18. Ruiko departs from Swift River a second time, taking Kinis, Volkan, and Aeylen with him to form the Copper Rock Creek pack.
  19. 10/02/12
  20. Indru goes missing.
  21. 18/03/12
  22. The River surrounding the pack territory floods into the Grove, taking with it the pack's beloved den.
  23. 26/03/12
  24. In the light of Indru's absence tension arises as Corinna notices that Naira is pregnant and leaving with the father, Rhysis.
  25. 10/04/12
  26. Battered but alive, Indru returns to Swift River after a landslide trapped him on the other side of the mountains.
  27. 24/04/12
  28. The River leaders call for a pack rally and the Swift River pack den is relocated, fashioned into a suitable place for Corinna and the pack's upcoming litter.
  29. 14/05/12
  30. The tension continues to keep a hold on the pack when a Poison Path wolf intrudes dangerously on pack territory. Not even moments after, Marsh and Cali summon the rest of the pack to shed some light on others about what has happened. Swift River and Poison Path are declared as adversaries.
  31. 25/05/12
  32. Indru and Corinna's second litter — Aiyana, Torrel, and Rissa — comes into the world on a cloudless summer morning.
  33. 30/08/12
  34. One day it becomes clear that Indru left with two of his sons, Rihael and Torrel. Heart-broken, Corinna searches the mountain for him but comes back empty-handed. Marsh steps up to lead the pack while she grows distant.
  35. 23/09/12
  36. Marsh, Jessie, Hotei and Ice unexpectedly runs across an old enemy, Rhysis, in the Wildwood, though he seems to have forgotten who they are...
  37. 24/11/12
  38. A particularly vicious loner, Blaze, trespasses, and resists Ice's and Jessie's attempts to force him out. As something mysterious causes Jessie to collapse Blaze leaves, but with Triell in tow Ice hunts him down. They corner him at the Iridescent Lagoon where his life ends, but another surprise was waiting for them: Naira.
  39. 04/12/12
  40. A stranger, Fleetfoot, abducts their precious Rissa and takes her east. About a day later, Aiyana returns with the news. A search party consisting of Ice, Jessie and Fenru sets out to the north, tracking her across the mountains — descending on the other side, they find nothing but more grief as they come upon her mangled, lifeless body.
  41. 03/01/13
  42. What is Triell doing with Naira up at the Lost Lake? It seems that she and Rhysis have come for their children, and were hoping to use Triell as a mediator of sorts.
  43. 11/01/13
  44. Finally Corinna is starting to come out of her shell, and as she chats with Ice by the Falls, it looks like Swift River might move away from the Grove they have called home for over two and a half years...
  45. 27/01/13
  46. The return of a former member, Ren, sparks a challenge for leadership between the current leader, Marsh, and his trusted friend, Ice, who manages to wrestle the position from him and rise as the new male leader of Swift River.
  47. 01/03/13
  48. The regal Elettra of Willow Ridge calls all the Relic Lore packs together to discuss Aniwaya and the rabies; Ice, Corinna and Cali attend, and with an agreement to wipe out the eastern pack they start to lay plans for an assault.
  49. 03/03/13
  50. Two days later, the wolves of the Lore gather at Bramble Falls under Ice's command, and cross the mountain range to bring the fight to the Aniwayans. Once across, they head south, eventually stumbling upon the rogue pack and ending the conflict once and for all.
  51. 24/03/13
  52. Their previous chat not forgotten, Ice and Corinna convene again under their new circumstances to discuss the future of Swift River; everything points towards a move, a new place to call home and raise cubs as Marsh and Triell are sent across the mountains to look for potential territories.
  53. 06/04/13
  54. With whangdoodles growing in Corinna's womb, she and Ice meet up again, to confirm that they are still moving. They then proceed to call for the pack, and break the news to them.

This is the current news for the Swift River pack.

Swift River was disbanded on 4/16/13.
