The wolves of Round Stone Crest had seen their share of tragedies. Born out of the need for the Black Thorn Downs wolves to find refuge further north after the maiming of one of their own by a neighboring pack, the Crest strove to be a closely-tied and loyal family. The male Alpha, Tokino Lagina, was discovered to have been murdered shortly before the journey north in the search for his missing daughter. Gent Lieris then worked his way up the ranks, taking his place as Alpha next to founder and matriarch Minka Lagina and serving as an adoptive father to the children sired by Tokino beginning on the day of their birth. Unfortunately, the pack was dealt another grave blow when Minka died suddenly only a couple of months after the move, leaving behind the three young pups and their yearling brother Kova. It was then that the position of female Alpha was conceded to Raela Asurn. Round Stone Crest was growing into its rebuilding and recovery phase, and many of the members had grown even closer to one another as a result.

Sadly, the recovery was short-lived. The late fall and winter months brought heavy losses and deaths throughout the ranks. Every one of Minka's children were gone or missing by mid-February, and with the former female lead also absent the pack was in a state of disarray. With Raela's return the situation seemed to stabilize some, and several new recruits were even taken in shortly after. She soon chose to become mates with Gent, and together they made the difficult choice to move the pack to a new location. The casualties had mounted and with none of Minka's family left in the area they felt there was little reason to stay.

In this pack the leaders sought approval from their members on major decisions and political relations; which were largely neutral; and usually conducted their meetings through open discussion and debate. They cared very deeply about solidarity and unity within the group, and valued family, loyalty and respect above all. Their scents were usually a mixture of pine sap, juniper, lichen and crisp mountain air.

Pack pride colors for Round Stone Crest are "Memoriam Magenta (#8A004C)" and "Blood Crimson (#B50000)."

Den Description: The center hill; the tallest summit in the Stonewatch Timbers; is the territory where the wolves of Round Stone Crest have laid their markers. The large hill, or rather the small mountain, owes its size to the several other hills that are nestled around it. On its peak, a single boulder of almost perfectly circular shape marks the entrance to the packs den; a large stone cave formed by wind and rain over time. The northernmost side has been eroded into a mesa, which is sparse of any vegetation and creates an easy vantage point to see the surrounding areas. The dense forest of towering spruce and pine that covers the majority of the territory lends shadowy camouflage for the wolves that live within the borders. The pack's main water source comes from a slow stream that snakes around the eastern base of the mountain before continuing on its way south.

These are the noteworthy events that have taken place in the history of the Round Stone Crest pack. They can include pack meetings, changes in leadership, births or deaths, etc.

02/10/15
Lugh is attacked by Iopah and Camio when, while attempting to look for missing princess Noble, he unintentionally crosses onto Secret Woodlands' land. He makes it back to his pack mates in a fit of hysteria and unable to name his attackers, only the location.
03/24/15
Minka calls the pack together to inform them of her decisions regarding Lugh's attack. She calls for war against Secret Woodlands, relocation of the pack, and affirmation of their alliance with Cut Rock River.
04/02/15
While searching for the still-missing Noble, Tokino is murdered by Whisper Caverns' alpha Ash and left to rot.
04/06/15
Inali goes to Secret Woodlands without Minka's permission to speak with their alpha, Nina. She discovers that Nina had no knowledge of the violence, and that the thicket alpha assumes the attackers were of the four that recently broke pack law and fled the pack. Inali warns Nina of Minka's plans for war.

Minka, Kova and Raela scout Stonewatch Timbers to find the perfect location for the pack's new home.
04/15/15
Inali returns to tell Minka what she has learned. The information forces Minka to reconsider her plans of war, but Inali's methods earn her banishment from the pack and completely severs the close bond the two women had shared.
04/16/15
Minka, accompanied by Gent for protection, approaches Secret Woodlands' territory with a gift and offer of peace for Nina. Nina informs them that the exiled traitors Camio, Nova, Iopah and Koda were most likely behind Lugh's attack, and neutrality is established between the two packs once again.
04/22/15
All Black Thorn Downs wolves, excluding the missing Tokino and Noble, make the move to their new home. Minka officially founds Round Stone Crest with members Lugh, Cessair, Astraeus, Gent, Raela, Bane, Loki (known to the pack as Gabriel) and Kova.
Gent and Naia meet again, this time with the Cut Rock River scout knocking on Round Stone Crest's door to relay information between the two packs. Inali's deception and the peace with Secret Woodlands is confirmed, while Naia informs Gent of Cut Rock River's pending relocation, Rook's betrayal, and rising tensions with Willow Ridge.

Minka and Gent set out to find Tokino, and discover his decomposing body. Distraught, they leave him there, and Minka later sends Bane to bury him.
05/05/15
Minka and Tokino's second litter is brought into the world. The pack welcomes Marianna, Draven and Kino.
05/29/15
After challenging his way up the ranks, Gent asks Lugh to step down as leader so that he may take on the role. With Minka's blessing, Lugh agrees, and Gent is made leader of Round Stone Crest.
06/13/15
Raela is viciously attacked by Vitani after the latter tresspasses into the pack's territory. This event prompts Gent to initiate a permanent defensive training regimen for all Round Stone Crest subordinates.
06/18/15
Gent and scout-in-training Cessair make the trip to root out their allies, finding them in Kingsfall as Hearthwood River. Kisla and Naia both answer the call, and Cessair relays news to the other pack before Gent addresses the issue of Kjors, who had attempted to hold the identity of Tokino's murderer for ransom. The trip does not go as expected, and tensions swiftly rise between the allies.

Minka calls the pack together to hold the traditional yearling ceremony, in which Kova and Octavius (known to the pack as Datura) are to choose their future roles in the pack and be assigned a mentor. Kova chooses to become a teacher and is assigned to Gent, while Octavius unexpectedly dodges out of the meeting without making a choice.

Round Stone Crest completes its first pack hunt, picking off a few caribou from a migrating herd in Larkcall Lowlands.

Raela is confronted by her cousin, Eirian, a mile out from the borders of Round Stone Crest. Alarmed by the presence of her genocidal family within the Lore, Raela immediately seeks out Gent and warns him. The Asurns are officially designated as enemies of the pack.

While spending a relaxing night alone with Gent outside of the pack's territory, Minka suddenly falls victim to a stroke brought on by undiagnosed brain cancer and passes away. Horrified, Gent immediately summons the pack, exposing Calanthe, Raela, Draven, Marianna, Kino, Kova, Moraxia and Alphinaud to the scene. Tensions swiftly arise between the pack members as the death exposes raw nerves.
