In the beginning, the story of Relic Lore was about a family: the Tainns. The Tainn family and its members played an essential role in developing the history of the realm, but over the years the land has become home to a number of additional families. In turn, these families have grown and flourished and left their own mark on our site, enriching the story with their presence. In this area of the library you can find detailed accounts of these families through brief accounts of their individual members, but this article is meant to serve as a brief overview of the kinds of families RoW has to offer.

Families are included in this article based on their representation in this area of the library. We include things like the First Wolf and the date of their arrival, notable members and contributions, and the packs one might find these wolves in.
